We are lovin' some Valentine's Day!

I am a lover of many things; Valentine’s Day is not one of these things. Maybe because I think love is special every day, or more likely, I cannot encourage any more public displays of affection than already are out there. Jess feels the same way. Ha. But, enough about our pet peeves – we found a way we could LOVE V-Day: truffles and cupcakes.

Now as you know, we make cupcakes everyday BUT we do not make V-Day flavors everyday!!! About a month ago, Jess and I decided we would make this day more enjoyable for us and then the Valentine Cupcake Flavors were born:

Triple Chocolate Love – chocolate cupcake, with our amazing chocolate buttercream topped with white chocolate “LOVE”.

Strawberries and Cream – Now, if you have ever looked for a Strawberry Cake recipe, you know that most of them call for *GASP* a cake mix! BUT, not here! Fresh strawberry cake in perfect little cupcake wrappers and topped with FRESH whipped cream with strawberries. Yum.

Turtle Cupcakes – We start with our perfect chocolate cupcake then, when they are still warm put gooey caramel sauce inside and finally top it with a chocolate-caramel ganache with pecans. This is love.

Raspberry Champagne – I think this is enough said. Come and try it.

Chocolate Covered Cherry – Rich and Decadent, this cupcake is moist and chocolatey with a hint of tart cherries. What more could you ask for??

Saturday we will be having a Red Velvet Cake come and enjoy it with us!

AND (drum roll please) ON Valentine’s Day we will be having Sweetheart Cupcakes – these precious little guys will look a lot like those little hearts that have fun words on them – FUN! These are perfect for people big and small!!

But wait, there is more! WE are now taking orders for truffles! Yes, you heard me – truffles – handmade from scratch! We start with Ghiradheli chocolate and form them into little balls of chocolate goodness! They are so smooth! In case you are wondering why we are having truffles around here, you can thank Jess. At Christmas, I made some truffle boxes for a few friends and they all loved them! Jess had the great idea to make them for the Brew and sell them for Valentine’s Day. She is brilliant!
